| There are 13 lab assignments over the course of the
semester. Each requires a written report of 2-3 pages in length. Your
eight highest grades will be counted in the calculation of
your final grade. All papers will be graded according to a standard set of
criteria.

1 Concert report
| 50 points
| May be submitted anytime during the semester, but no
later than Wed. Nov. 27. See guidelines for the
concert report.

1 Midterm exam
| 100 points
| Will focus on listening and objective material covered in
class and in the text.
