Social Program
For registered participants (and accompanying persons) a Welcome Party will be held at 19.00 hours on Sunday, 25 August, immediately after the Opening Lecture. On Monday evening, there will be a Mexican fiesta. On Tuesday afternoon, we plan to have a free afternoon for participants to enjoy the facilities available at the resort, followed by dinner at the Resort. On Wednesday evening, there will be a closing banquet.
The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort offers a number of facilities and activities including golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, and jeep tours of the surrounding desert and mountains. For golfers arriving on Saturday, 24 August, a golf tournament is being organized on one of the Resort's excellent courses for Sunday, 25 August. Please indicate your interest in participating on the Registration Form (see the Forms page).
