Ground transportation from Tucson International Airport to Loews Ventana Canyon is readily available. Use of a mini-bus (Arizona Stagecoach Co.) costs approximately $25. Travel Awards
The American Association of Anatomists has provided an Outreach Grant to provide assistance to five (5) young investigators ($500 each) in subsidizing their travel, registration, and lodging expenses. These young investigators (within seven (7) years of obtaining their doctoral degree) will be selected by the Scientific Organizing Committee based upon abstracts submitted that utilize morphological approaches to the study of sinusoidal living cells, e.g., light and electron microscopy, confocal and multiphoton imaging, immunocytochemistry, in situ hybridization, etc. If you wish to be considered for this award, please check the appropriate box on the Abstract Submission Form. The deadline for abstracts and registration has been extended to 1 June, 2002.

Accommodations
The meeting will be held at the beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. Conde Nast Traveler recently ranked this resort as one of the top 25 in North America. The resort is located on the northern edge of Tucson Arizona in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Rooms at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort will be available for a fixed daily rate of $85. Up to three people can occupy each room at this rate. This requires requesting a roll-away bed for the third person. The room rate is available between August 23 and August 31, 2002 to accommodate those who wish to arrive early or extend their stay beyond the meeting dates of August 25 - August 29, 2002.

Please complete the Hotel Reservations Form (found in the Second Announcement) and mail or fax it directly to the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. Reservations will be accepted until July 24, 2002, or until the group block is full, whichever comes first.

Meals
