View White Paper: Effectively communicating via the web

For over five years I have developed web sites for instructional, research, and public relation needs. I began developing web pages as a college student at Santa Clara University in 1996. I became the first webmaster for the Bannan Institute at Santa Clara University in 1997. Click here to see the original design. In addition samples issues of the journal, Explore, which I produced ( Issue 1 | Issue 2 ) are still available online. Also, I instructed a course in 1998 on web design in which students created web sites for community organizations in San Jose.

For the last three years, I have developed web-based support tools for both instructional and research needs in the Department of Communication at the University of Arizona while pursuing my MA in communication. I have been the webmaster for several courses and developed interactive tutorials for students via CGI scripting. I have also programmed online surveys, databases, and project tracking tools for research needs. My major accomplishment is the ROSS system (Research Online Signup System), which aids students, instructors and researchers in the recruitment and tracking of participants in research projects.

My experience in both print and online design can aid your organization in both its offline and online public relations needs.
