Homework and Reading Schedule

January 20, 2010 -       No Homework

January 27, 2010 -       Literature Review- Due February 2, 2010 by 10:00 p.m.

January 27, 2010 -       Hypothesis Assignment- Due February 9, 2010 by 10:00 p.m.

Homework Instructions:

1. Write out your five hypotheses you came up with in class (if you came up with better ones later it is OK to use them)

2. Indicate which ones are both testable and falsifiable

3. Write a brief explanation why the each hypothesis is testable and/or falsifiable or not

4. Rank order them in order of which ones are the most likely to be tesed this semester

February 10, 2010-       Statistics Review

February 17, 2010-       Designs

Homework Instructions:

1: Write an up to two page intruduction section

2: Use your favorite hypothesis from the last assignment

3:Find at least three articles which help you start your argument for the paper. If you find some that contradict your hypothesis include them also

4: Briefly propose a method for testing this hypothesis, and the expected results you expect to find if your hypothesis is supported and if it is not

Remember it will save you a lot of time and effort for your semester project if this is the research question for the semester
