·       Do Knowledge Test K10 at the beginning of the class.

1.   Read pages 292 to 295

2.   Do Hands-on Exercise 1: Workgroups and Forms, steps 1 to 8

·       Step 7: Use your name instead of "Maryann Barber". Fill in your address instead of the one provided in the book. Do not print the document at this time.

·       Step 8: Make sure the password you are using is “password” in lowercase.

3.   Read pages 304 and 305

4.   Do Hands-on Exercise 2: Table Math, steps 1 to 7

5.  Step 7: Add your name as the Performer above the signature line. Print the document following all the directions given in the book. Hand the printout in as part of your assignment 10.

6.   Read pages 313 and 314

7.   Do Hands-on Exercise 3: Master Documents, steps 1 to 6

a.   Step 6: Add your name instead of Eric Simon before printing. Hand in your printouts as part of your assignment 6.

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO HANDS-ON EXERCISE 4, HOWEVER YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAND IT IN.

8.   Read pages 321 to 324

9.   Do Hands-on Exercise 4: Introduction to Macros, steps 1 to 10

10. Staple and turn in your printouts. Use this sheet as cover adding your section number, name and computer number.

11.    Do TA08 "Explore - Word 2000 - Chapter 7 (Prescriptive Testing)". Make sure you do the prescriptive test, the lessons generated subquently, and the posttest. Posttest is what will be recorded for your grade.
