·        Do knowledge Test K06 if you have not done so. 

1.   Read pages 52 to 59

2.   Do Hands-on Exercise 1: Editing a document, steps 1 to 8

a.      Step 8: Print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 6.

3.   Read pages 67 and 73

4.   Do Hands-on Exercise 2: Character Formatting, steps 1 to 8

a.      Step 3: The font for the whole document should be set as Times New Roman 12 point

b.     Step 6: Change the bottom margin to 0.5 inch instead of 0.75 inch.

c.      Step 8: Print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 6.

5.   Read pages 80 to 88

6.   Do Hands-on Exercise 3: Paragraph Formatting, steps 1 to 10

a.      Step 8: Print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 6.

b.     Step 10: Save and print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 6.

7.   Do problems 4 and 5 on pages 104 and 105.

a.      Problem 4: Review page 84 Tabs, to get to the Tabs editor: Format > Tabs…

b.     Problem 5: Review page 87 Borders and Shading, to get to the Borders and Shading editor: Format > Borders and Shading….

c.      Add your name and print out your final documents. Hand them in as part of your assignment 6.

8.   Staple and turn in your printouts. Use this sheet as cover adding your section number, name and computer number.

9.    Do TA04 "Explore - Word 2000 - Chapter 2 (Prescriptive Testing)". Make sure you do the prescriptive test, the lessons generated subquently, and the posttest. Posttest is what will be recorded for your grade.
