Enhancing a Document: The Web and other Resources

·        Do knowledge Test K07.

1.   Read pages 110 to 114.

2.   Do Hands-on Exercise 1: Creating a Compound Document, steps 1 to 8.

a.      Step 8: Print the document, making sure it fits on one page and hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

3.   Read pages 123 to 125.

4.   Do Hands-on Exercise 2: Word 2000 and the Web, steps 1 to 8.

a.      Step 7: Add your name at the end of the document and print the document to hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

b.   Step 8:

i.       After browsing for your file, select the Open as Web Folder option on the Open dialog box of Internet Explorer. 

ii.     Print the document to hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

5.   Read pages 134 to 136.

6.   Do Hands-on Exercise 3: Wizards and Templates, steps 1 to 5.

a.      Step 3: Add your name as the Note taker, print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

b.     Step 5: Add your name in the From: section, print the document and hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

7.   Do problem 3 on page 148, add your name at the end of the document, print out your final document and hand it in as part of your assignment 7.

8.   Staple and turn in your printouts. Use this sheet as cover adding your section number, name and computer number.

9.    Do TA05 "Explore - Word 2000 - Chapter 3 (Prescriptive Testing)". Make sure you do the prescriptive test, the lessons generated subquently, and the posttest. Posttest is what will be recorded for your grade.
