Healthy People 2010 represents the third time that the U.S.
Department (HHS) has developed 10-year health objectives for the Nation. Two
overarching goals--increase quality and years of healthy life, and eliminate
health disparities--served
as a guide for developing objectives that will actually measure progress.
There is a section on adolescent health that may be especially useful to
health
and
science teachers in middle and high schools. |
