2002-present. Co-founder, American Indian Community History Center, Oakland, California.

2003. Repatriation of Taino ancestral remains from the Smithsonian Institution.

1997-2002. Co-director with Frank Lobo. The Children of Tamayowut: a Language and Culture Revitalization project of the Acjachemen people. Affiliate project of the Seventh Generation Fund. Administration, fund-raising, organizing workshops.

1988-1994. Work with the Aymara people of Coroma, Bolivia in their repatriation of stolen ceremonial weavings. Fund-raising and translating American Indian delegation trip to Coroma, Bolivia, December l992. Coordinated media exposure to repatriation issues.

January 1993. Assisted in repatriation of objects to Mohave of Parker, Arizona.

1992-1993. Working with Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma in repatriation efforts. October l993-Smithsonian Institution, Museum of Natural History, Office of Repatriation meetings and research.

1984-1988. Co-founder and publications editor of the South and Meso American Indian Rights Center (SAIIC).
