About Me

I received a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Anthropology in 2001 and 2006, both from the University of Arizona. At present, I am a doctoral candidate in archaeology and applied anthropology at the School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona. My dissertation, titled "Disaster, Technology, and Community: Measuring Responses to Smallpox Epidemics in Historic Hidatsa Villages, North Dakota," has been supervised by doctors Michael Brian Schiffer and Maria Nieves Zedeno. I am currently working on finishing a complete draft by the end of July. In addition to my status as a PhD candidate, I am a Research Associate in the Department of Anthropology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
