Recent Assignments
In summer ‘09, I taught Philosophy 323 (“Environmental Ethics”). I invited Allen Wright, a carbon capture engineer, to class.
In spring ‘09, I TA’ed for Philosophy 205 (“The Ethics & Economics of Wealth Creation”), taught by Dave Schmidtz. This course introduced students, many of whom are headed for careers in business, to moral dimensions of entrepreneurship, with historical and contemporary readings from ethics and economics.
In fall ‘07, I TA’ed for Philosophy 205, taught by Jerry Gaus.
In spring ‘07, I co-led a senior epistemology course (Philosophy 441) with Terry Horgan. We taught a unit on the epistemology of disagreement, and thinking about this topic led quite naturally to my dissertation project.
