 My
mom is missing
Hey everyone, I figured that I'd fill you in
on what was going on: my mom never got back from Mexico. So
for those of you who don't know, Spring Break was down in
Mexico and there were five UA kids and my sister hanging out
with my Mom and two of my uncles at The Sheraton using the
time share that my mom and uncle owns. Anyways, most of us
left on Friday and my Mom stayed on to head out on a 10 day
birding jungle expedition. Now I was a little worried about
her going because it was a backpacking trip and she hasn't
done any trips like this since we were very little kids. The
first day was supposed to be a 9 mile hike. Well the gist
is that I haven't heard a word from her since Wednesday when
she was supposed to come back. I started worring yesterday
and was calling the Zoo (her work), her home, Liberty Wildlife,
anybody that I could. No one has heard a thing. So this afternoon
I'm going to go to Pheonix to try and find her. If I can't
find her anywhere in Phx, I'm going to start sifting through
her stacks of papers to try to find some kind of contact information
and find out if the expedition as a whole even got back. Basicly
I'm really freaked out and worried today so if you see me
and I look a little intense, you understand why. Please send
your prayers and I'll keep you all updated.
