A few personal details Raised in the Washington, DC, area, I did my undergraduate work at George Washington University and my doctoral studies at the University of Toronto. I have taught at UA since 1978. My wife, Marilyn, took a second undergraduate degree from UA, and our sons both received bachelor's degrees with honors in 2001.
