What I think about Life after Death!

Well, let me explain to you that I am a firm believer in life after death. There may not be life after death, but I feel obligated to believe that there is, considering that my dad, my uncle, and my Papu, and my old dog have all passed away. To think that they just died and didn't go anywhere is kind of hard to imagine. I believe that right now they are up in heaven, feeling as good as they have ever felt before in their entire existence. They have no pain, whether it be emotional or physical, and therefore are experiencing complete and total happiness. I believe that my father is in heaven right now looking down on me and taking care of me spiritually.

I don't believe that God created us, only to have us spend a certain amount of time on earth without having a greater purpose. When we die, our spirit still lives on. I believe that our spirit is what makes us who we are. When we die, only our physical self passes away, but our spirit continues to grow.

In believing in life after death, I once was asked if I believe in hell then, and if some lives go to hell after death. To this I say no. I don't believe in hell. I believe that God is a forgiving God and that no matter how bad things are in life and no matter how many things we do wrong, there is always a good side to us, and therefore, when we die, our good side is what still lives on. These are my thoughts on life after death.

The two pictures I've used are examples of what people consider life and death. Ideas and viewpoints are simply personal concepts. The picture on the top right is somebody's idea of what they consider to be life. The other picture is what somebody else considers to be death.
