The journal is an independent, annual publication that seeks to explore the concept of place through articles, fiction, poetry, essays, maps, photographs, and art.

The 2010 Editors of the journal are Anne-Marie Hanson and Jamie McEvoy. Currently PhD candidates in the Department of Geography, both editors have long been fascinated with the concept of imagined spaces. Jamie's current research focuses on the political ecology of water infrastructure and urban water supply in northwestern Mexico. Anne-Marie studies the production of urban space within natural protected areas in southern Mexico.
