you are here: the journal of creative geography is published by graduate students in the Department of Geography & Regional Development at the University of Arizona. The journal is an independent, annual publication that seeks to explore the concept of place through articles, fiction, poetry, essays, maps, photographs, and art.

you are here encourages submissions from geographers, historians, anthropologists, architects, scientists, writers, artists, and anyone else interested in exploring creative geography.


ABOUT OUR STAFF

The staff of you are here is comprised of graduate and undergraduate students in Geography & Regional Development and other departments at the University of Arizona. If you are interested in getting involved with the journal, please email us.


EDITOR

The 2010 Editors of the journal are Anne-Marie Hanson and Jamie McEvoy. Currently PhD candidates in the Department of Geography, both editors have long been fascinated with the concept of imagined spaces. Jamie's current research focuses on the political ecology of water infrastructure and urban water supply in northwestern Mexico. Anne-Marie studies the production of urban space within natural protected areas in southern Mexico.
