This course covers the physical principles behind the medical
cross-sectional imaging modalities of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),
computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), positron emission tomography
(PET), and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT).
OPTI 638 is typically offered in the Spring Semester.
