POLICIES PERTAIN TO BOTH COURSES:
ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED. There will be no make-up
examinations, quizzes or assignments. Emergencies will be dealt with on
a case-specific basis.
All assignments are to be submitted on the scheduled due dates. Any assignment submitted after that date will receive a grade reduction of 10 points for each day that it is late, pending the instructor's APPROVAL for specific circumstances only (i.e., emergencies, etc.).
IMPORTANT: Cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated. Assignments that do not properly reference all sources of information will be considered as plagiarism. For ore information, please refer to the Universities Code of Academic Integrity and Code of Student Conduct in the University Catalog, Student Handbook, and the Fall 2000 Schedule of Classes. If you have any questions on how to properly cite a reference for an assignment, please contact me. Also, refer to the Citation Guide in the University of Arizona Library homepage.
I reserve the right to adjust a student's score either upward or downward on the basis of attitude, attendance, and my impression of your comprehension of the course material. These policies are implemented to to help all students achieve success in the course and to maintain comfort and fairness.
