Ease of use:

Navigation through LanguageNow! starts with titles.  For instance, the user picks a title/topic and is then immersed in a contextual language lesson that is of interest to the user.  LanguageNow! software capitalizes on a variety of activities used to teach language. For example, games, video, sound and pronounciation, cultural information and practice assessments are employed to provide language lessons that address many learning styles.

Reflections

Upon purusing the program, I was amazed and delighted that the application gave a definition of language immersion.  I was especially thrilled because I know there are several different types of language immersion.  I noted that effort was made to integrate cultural information which is sometimes missing from language immersion practices.  The software is a nice model of how to teach yourself a language using technology as a tool.  LanguageNow! gave me ideas about how to organize Heritage language lessons on the Web.
