about me

I am in the Philosophy PhD Program at the University of Arizona, where I am also a student in the Cognitive Science Program. My research is primarily in the areas of metaethics and moral psychology. I'm also interested in ethics more broadly construed, epistemology, and the philosophy of biology.

Spanning these areas, the general focus of my current research is the naturalistic study of moral judgment. In my work, I examine scientific questions concerning the nature and origins of the cognitive processes involved in moral judgment, as well as metaethical questions concerning the content of moral concepts and the epistemic evaluation of moral beliefs.
