Travel Information for the March 28-29, 2008 meeting at Utah State University

GETTING TO UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY IN LOGAN

Utah State University is located in Logan, Utah, an easy 80-minute drive north from the Salt Lake International Airport. Visitors will enjoy the scenic ride along the Wasatch Mountains via Interstate 15, then through the beautiful Cache National Forest and Wellsville Canyon on a wide, four-lane highway that takes you right into Logan.

GETTING FROM THE SALT LAKE CITY AIRPORT TO LOGAN

You may either rent a car or take Cache Valley Limo's Airport Shuttle to get from the Salt Lake City Airport to Logan. If you take the shuttle, you must to make reservations in advance--you will not be able to "catch the shuttle at the airport."

GETTING AROUND LOGAN

Logan has a free public bus system; you can get most places around town taking the public bus. Please be aware that Logan is a relatively small city and there are only 1-2 taxi cabs in Logan. If you plan on exploring the city or local areas we recommend you rent a car at the Salt Lake City airport.

LODGING IN LOGAN

A reasonably priced, convenient choice for this conference would be the Utah State University Inn . Other Logan area hotels can be located via the Utah Lodging Planner.
