Contemporary Malaysian Art

1	The educator has to have a thorough knowledge of the content with a deep, unbiased study of the history and arts of Islam.
2	Education in this project plays an important role in learning to know the connection of this art with the world today.(check suggested reading and websites)
3	The need is there to have the knowledge of how to connect a totally new and alien concept to the lives of the children in this present day and age.
4	Suitable changes may be made in the lesson plan, keeping in consideration the age/stage level of the students.
5	Be familiar with the Islamic art forms of arabesque and geometric design to help in choosing and applying patterns.
6	Knowledge of geographic boundries of Islamic countries will come in handy.(checkout map on Historical Documents page)
