Bibliography of Books and Film/Video Resources

Created 5/25/01 Last updated 5/25/01

Compiled by: Melissa Johnson, Research Technician at The University of Arizona,
Mel & Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health.

Before you use this resource:

Topics include:Sexual Assault, Sexual Violence, Acquaintance Rape, Stalking, Harassment, Childhood Sexual Abuse, and Incest.

The list is arranged alphabetically according to subject. Within each subject there are books listed first, with films/videos listed toward the end. Many of the resources here were compiled from the internet, and may be located and purchased on the internet. Some of the places where these materials may be available (though I am not officially endorsing) are your local independent bookstore, Barnes & Noble or Borders bookstores, www.wmm.com, www.mediaed.org, www.docuseek.com, and your local public or academic libraries.

The books and films here are mainly recent publications (after 1990), with a few exceptions for classic materials. A few of the materials listed are geared toward professionals and academics, while most of the materials are suitable for the general public. I make no claim to have a complete list of all-inclusive subjects or materials, though I have attempted to be as diverse as possible, and am open to suggestions.
