Part II: 80% Answer each question

1. Discuss one social concern in the United States in the 20th century. Identify the
problem,indicate how it developed, what steps were taken by people and/or government entities to resolve the problem, and conclude with how the problem
either was resolved or how attempts were made to resolve it. Be sure to use specific examples from your readings to support your contentions.

2. Discuss whether the United States did or did not engage in imperialistic policies in the twentieth century. Indicate three examples of American foreign policy where the
United States acted, or did not act, properly, and discuss these events or issues. Be sure to explain why you think the United States did or did not engage in imperialistic activities in each instance. Use specific examples from your readings to support your contentions.
