Hello and welcome! My name is Sabah Currim and I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona. I am a member of the Advanced Database Research Group that addresses various issues in the area of databases.
Working with databases has always been enjoyable for me. My research work has focused on data management. The objective of my doctoral research is to understand why novices make errors at the conceptual design stage. Better understanding why novices make errors would aid in designing training to help people grasp the material better, and thus, reduce errors committed and improve the quality of database design.
I completed my Masters in Management Information Systems at The University of Arizona in 2002. I completed my undergraduate degree in Engineering (Electronics) from Mumbai, India.
I am graduating in May 2006, God willing, and am looking for full-time and post-doc positions in academia and industry. My application package can be found here.
