What I do:
I am the computer Support Systems Analyst for the machines and users in the department, as well as the Win2K domain Administrator. I love this job! This is a great place to work, with fantastic people, and even when the work load gets heavy- there is never a dull moment!
My history:
I was born on a farm in Southern Illinois, and moved to Willcox, Arizona when I was 13. My family had a tax accounting office in their home and a horse stable with registered Morgans, Tennessee Walking Horses, Racking horses, Aribians and Saddlebreds. I have a long history of customer support, starting as a little kid in our tax office xeroxing returns, listing checks, etc. and got used to appearing in public at horse shows all accross the south when I was still a kid. I hold an Associates degree with high honors in Liberal Arts, emphasis in Spanish from Pima Community College, 4.0 GPA. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature with a minor in Humanities with high honors from the University of Arizona, 3.9 GPA. I was a member of Phi Thta Kappa, Alpha Beta Chi chapter at Pima College, and served as Recording Secretary and Public Relations Secretary. I was also in the Honors programs at both Pima and the University of Arizona, and the President of the Spanish Club during my time at the University. I am a member of the National Hispanic Honorary Society. I received the University of Arizona's Staff Award for Excellence in April of 1999.
Hers's a picture of the sweetest man on earth and my husband of 22 years, Sam (the big guy) with our Hap Ki Do instructor, Dan Steiner.
My curent hobbies are martial arts, reading, gardening, sewing, cooking, hunting, fishing, camping, html, home improvement, learning new programming languages, and watching cheezy movies late at night. Basically I like all things nerd, and anything to do with computing and improving computer tech\computer user interrelations. I have 2 dogs and three geriatric chickens, and feed most ofPima county's bird population in my backyard. They pretty much rule the house.
I like to demystify the whole computing process and do not believe in reinventing the wheel. I want to tell everyone about the things that I have found out through a whole lot of searching, reading and begging for help, so they don't have to cover that same ground. To that end, I have developed these web pages that are intended to help people out and make it a little easier to have fun and get your work done.
