Mary Clarice Weed died from cancer on Wednesday, November 29th at the Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, California. Mary Clarice was born to Harry Emerson and Denise Mary Martin Weed on July 29, 1951 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She graduated from Junction City High School in 1969. She worked for the Junction City Telephone Company. In 1970, she moved to California. She attended the College of Los Angeles and the College of Suskiyou at Weed, California. She then traveled to Anchorage, Alaska, where she held a number of jobs, including living on the Kenai Peninsula. She then moved back to the states, living in Mount Shasta and Tahoe, California. She had lived in Junction City for the past twenty-one years. Mary Clarice was the grand-daughter of Ralph A. Martin and Reverend Harry Ray Weed of First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at Grace United Methodist Church, Long Beach, California.

She is survived by her mother Denise Weed, Junction City, her father Harry Weed, Long Beach, California, her sister, Linda Denise Weed, Long Beach, California, nephew-Cody Weed, stepmother, Marlene Weed, Long Beach, California, half sisters, Leah Delaurier and Rivka Weed, of Long Beach, California, nephew Winston Delaurier and niece Shaylyn Delaurier, and her Uncle Ralph Martin Jr., of Junction City.
