After high school I hung around JC for about five years, working for Mobil Traveler, etc. Briefly lived in Sacramento California and hitchhiked around the country for a while. Moved back to Manhattan in 1974 where I worked building mobile homes and then went to K-State majoring in fine art.

In 1980 I moved to Tucson. I fell in love with the mountains and have been here ever since. I've worked at the University of Arizona as a postal clerk since 1981. I got married in 1985, had two wonderful children, got rid of the wife but kept the kids. I'd say that was a pretty good deal.
