Where to start. After divorcing Mike Baker in 1981,
I married Doug Wolnik (Class of 1971) in May 1982. We have one son,
Joshua, who is currently a Junior at JCHS, plays Center on the Jr. Varsity
football team (when he's not sidelined with knee injuries or broken
bones) and has recently become quite involved with weightlifting. He's
an honor student, all around good kid (and I'm glad for that since he
stands about 6'1" and weighs in at 245 pounds!).
I am in my 23rd year working as a civilian employee
at Irwin Army Community Hospital. I'm currently serving as Chief of
the Quality Management/Risk Management Branch at the hospital and am
thankful my career has reached this level. I'm hoping to retire in about
6 more years and then I can really begin enjoying life.
About 3 years ago, Doug and I were lucky enough to
purchase 40 acres of land located in the Flint Hills and are now the
proud owners of 4 beautiful quarter horses. They take a lot of our time,
but we wouldn't trade it for the world!! Shoveling manure is not my
idea of great fun, but horses have always been my passion so I'm thankful
we are able to do it now. I think this website is the greatest and hope
I hear more from former classmates (and friends) -
