I live in Overland Park, KS with my wife, Jeanne. We have three daughters, two are married and one is in college.  In my free time, I play golf, snow ski and avidly follow KU basketball.

I am a sales, management and marketing consultant, working with a wide variety of companies around the U.S.  Since high school, I graduated in journalism from the University of Kansas, did graduate work at Pepperdine University and completed my MBA at Rockhurst University.  After KU, I worked briefly for my dad in JC, then worked retail management for three years.  I got back into publishing in 1976 with Vance Publishing, selling advertising.  We lived in southern California for eight years in the late 70s and early 80s, otherwise we have been in the KC area.  I started my consulting business in 1994.
