After graduation, I attended K-State for two years,
the first as an applied piano major. I then changed my major to Elementary
Education and graduated from Washburn Univ. in December, 1972.
I moved to California (Orange Co.) where I lived for
the next 8 years. I was married and had my first two children there
then moved back to Kansas where the next four children were born. I
was divorced 5 years ago (shortly after our 25th reunion, although there
truly wasn't any correlation!) and currently live in Horton, Ks. but
commute to Topeka every day.
I have worked as the training coordinator for the Children's
Alliance of Kansas (an association of child welfare agencies) for a
little over a year and very much enjoy it. I have one son attending
Cal State Fullerton as a business major, one son attending the Univ.
of N. Dakota majoring in commercial aviation, a daughter at K-State
(finally got a Wildcat, who also pledged my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma!)
majoring in interior design!, a 16 year old son in high school and two
daughters who still live at home with me (13 and 10 years old) Life
never gets boring!
Thank you Pat for all the hard work you have obviously
put into this site . . . What a great idea!
