Ryan G. Baird

I am a fifth year Ph.D. Candidate in School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona.

My research interests include international political economy, domestic political and economic institutions, determinants of investment and trade, economic interdependence, and social science concepts.

My dissertation endeavors to make theoretical, conceptual, formal, and quantitative advancements within the research area of domestic institutions, more specifically the theoretical intersection of governance, regime type and their effects on state's economic outcomes.
