I am an evolutionary genomicist with a broad interest in genome evolution. My research involves the utilization of bioinformatic and molecular tools to understand the dynamics of gene content variations among bacterial and plant genomes.

I am particularly interested in comparative genomics of closely related genomes which enables us to study these variations in finer detail.

Besides research, I enjoy playing badminton. I am also an avid fan of cricket and soccer. While not pursuing my sports interests, I try my hand at cooking.
