The Pacific Regional Science Conference Organization  PRSCO is a non-membership organization responsible for organizing the Pacific Conferences of the RSAI in odd-numbered years and PRSCO Institutes in even numbered years and for promoting regional science in the Pacific Rim region; WRSA is a founding member organization of PRSCO and periodically assumes responsibility for hosting the Pacific Conference. WRSA host edthe 17th Pacific Conference June 30-July 4, 2001 at the Embassy Suites Portland Downtown Hotel, Portland, Oregon, USA.

The North American Regional Science Council   NARSC is the organization responsible for organizing the annual North American Meetings of the RSAI and for promoting regional science in North America. WRSA is one of the five founding member organizations of NARSC.  WRSA served as co-host (with the Department of Geography and Regional Development of the University of Arizona) of the 45th North American Meetings of the RSAI in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, November 11-14, 1998.  WRSA has agreed to host the 56th North American Meetings in San Francisco, November 18-21, 2008.
