SPECIAL FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY ANNUAL MEETING

40th Anniversary
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA
RIVIERA RESORT AND RACQUET CLUB
February 25 – 28, 2001

The conference will begin on Sunday afternoon February 25 with registration and a special Opening Session and Reception to mark the Association's 40th Year. Paper sessions will be held all-day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 26–28.

PAPERS ON ANY TOPIC OF BROAD INTEREST TO REGIONAL SCIENCE ARE WELCOMED

THE PROGRAM COMMITTEE SCREENS PAPERS FOR SUITABILITY BEFORE INVITATIONS ARE SENT

PERSONS INTERESTED IN ORGANIZING SPECIAL SESSIONS SHOULD GET IN TOUCH WITH WRSA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY DAVE PLANE IMMEDIATELY

POTENTIAL TOPICS INCLUDE: Resource Utilization; Impact Analysis; Regional Modeling; Location of Economic Activity; Housing; Regional & Urban Planning; Environmental Quality; Regional Development;
Migration and Demographic Analysis; Transportation; Locational Criteria for Public Services & Facilities; Tourism & Recreation; Local Public Finance; Energy Issues; Regional Science Epistemology & Pedagogy

For consideration by the program committee e-mail a file (see specs below) or send
three (3) hard copies of your paper (in draft or final form) not later than:
OCTOBER 15, 2000.

Abstracts are not accepted.
