Brandon Praslicka, Ph.D.

Brandon comes to Tuscon after obtaining his BS in Biology from Texas A&M University and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In the Ooi lab he is studying the role of Nrf2 signaling in cancer cell metabolism. During his free time Brandon enjoys watching college football, playing golf and working out.

Michael Kerins, BS

Michael comes to Tucson after completing his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation. In the Ooi lab, Michael is currently researching iron signaling dysregulation in kidney cancer. Outside of the lab, Michael enjoys running, hiking, soccer, Netflix, and playing board and video games.
