Matt Van Essen’s Home Page:

Thank you for visiting my homepage. 

I am a third year economics graduate student at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

My main research focuses on the theory of public goods and experimental economics.

My dissertation title is “Implementing Lindahl Allocations—Incorporating Experimental Observations into Mechanism Design Theory.”

I am also doing work in the role experience has on the empirical validity of mixed strategy Nash equilibrium, dynamic stability issues in public good mechanisms, and whether negative reciprocity can mitigate the holdup problem.
