Attic Red-Figure: Early Classic and Classic: Sundry Amazonomachies.

"This is a fragment showing a collapsing archer. The Amazon wears sleeves under a belted peplos with overfold, and a helmet. In her left hand she still holds the bow (of Scythian type); the right arm is raised and extended. She looks up at her opponent (now lost)."

Dietrich von Bothmer. 1957. Amazons in Greek Art. Oxford: Clarendon Press.

[Interesting combo of the peplos (traditional for Greek women), the helmet (traditional for Greek men) and the spotted sleeves (associated with those barbaric easterners, including Amazons)]
