Background:
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at the University of Arizona but will be joining the Department of Sociology at Cornell University as an Assistant Professor in the fall of 2008. I finished my MA in Sociology at the University of Arizona in 2003 and completed BA degrees in Sociology and Psychology at Emory University in 2000. My research interests are in social network analysis, quantitative methodology, social psychology, gender, and political sociology. My teaching interests are primarily in social network analysis, quantitative methods, research methods and gender. I am a member of the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA) and the American Sociological Association (ASA). I was just elected as the Graduate Student Representative to the ASA's Mathematical Sociology Section and look forward to serving my term.
