I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Linguistics with a minor in Cognitive Science at the University of Arizona. My interests range from morpho-syntax, to semantics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics and langauge documentation and revitalization. I am currently affiliated with the Human Language Processing Lab in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester, where we are carrying out a number of field-based language production studies on word-order variation with speakers of Yucatec Maya.
On this site, you can find professional as well as personal information about me. You can find downloadable papers, handouts and presentations along with my CV, links, pictures etc. I appreciate the indispensable website tips from my brother, Wesley Butler! Take a look at some of his work (shameless plug): Dynamic Design Development.
