I have maintained a glossary of abbreviations
and acronyms which may be useful.
I have also maintained an MRI_glossary of
abbreviations and acronyms which may be useful.
I also started a short dictionary of terms which
may be helpful.
In addition to my duties here in the clinic, I have recently been
working on using Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS), also known as
Chemical Shift Imaging (CSI), and Diffusion Weighted MRI (DWMRI) to
differentiate between recurrent disease and Radiation Induced Necrosis
(RIN)
in glioma patients.
I am pleased to report that we have recently been approved to enroll
patients in a study that will examine how best to achieve this goal.
Interested parties can find out more about this project
here .
Some recent publications regarding this subject can be found
here .
In addition to these, we have been having bi-monthly meetings during
which, we have discussed how things are progressing. You can find out
what we have been talking about here .
Last, but not least, I also have interests in Border Health (see website ).
I recently gave a talk at a Border Health conference. For a Power Point
