September 2004

September 25, 2004
Alright, after a fun-filled evening of playing with HTML, I am about to fall asleep. I have most of the individual pages and menus done for the pictures, but I am likely to finish that tomorrow. Likewise, if anyone finds any links that are broken or go to the wrong place, let me know and I will fix them. This is likely to be a big problem in particular with the picture links. Anyway, it is now time to head off to bed.

Alright, I have been entertained all evening. But now it is time to feed my stomach with food of some sort. After I finish working on my personal website, I plan on working on a friend's blog's template. Can you believe that some people don't know what a blog is? Sheesh. But anyway, a bird pooped on my shoulder today. And typically I will keep this sort of thing either in my Live Journal but today is different because I wanted to use this icon. Anyway, I am hungry but I also need to get me some colors for this friend's website.

Ok, I think I am website-outed. That was part of my problem over the week--I had been wanting to work on this but couldn't because of chemistry lab and hence I was getting irritable. But anyway, now it is truly time to get to work. And I did finally change out of my pajamas. Go me.

Oh look, its lightening and thundering. I love the smell of ozone. It woke me up last night with its banging and flashing. I love the rain except when it wakes me up. Glad my roommate said she did too...otherwise I would have been a chicken.

Anyway, as for site updates, tonight all of my writings should be up so that the only thing left is some minor touchups and my pictures and their individual pages, which you might have to wait a while for. My academic stuff is up as of right now, but almost everything is in .doc format. I have also been working on the individual emoticons and some are quite cute. I just need to upload them and all. I wonder how much space the UA lets us have. *ponders*

It looks as though I have all the major links finished (for instance, go briefly to either the Writing or Academia buttons on top and you will notice that they now have text there. Go me). However, I still need to do the individual pages for both pictures and documents. I did end up getting the wallpaper section all set up and taken care of as well. It currently has two organic themed papers.

I would like to make some user icons indicating whether I am happy or sad or whatnot. However, I might go and steal those from a website that offers them. And they are cute. Anyone know where I can get some? If so, shoot me an email at keslar@email.arizona.edu.

But now it is time for bed. I am exhausted. But thirsty.

Alright, I got most of the Icons and Wallpaper page finished, with everything except the wallpaper up. I still need to make some minor tweaks to those pages, though (like get the link bar to have the appropriate links). I also have the main page to the pictures finished. I have linked pages that aren't up yet and in one case, used a picture that I don't have yet. I will try to spend a half hour a day working on it, but don't expect much. Therefore, I still need to get the picture links and individual picture pages up as well as the academia and writings, both of which will take a good portion of my time because of the need to covert between .doc to .html (the curvy quotes which got Dan Rather in trouble are getting me in trouble as well). But because I need to have an article written plus finish my chemistry lab and get some sleep, I shall be leaving the site as is until tomorrow. Good night 'all.

Oh yes, before I forget, I am planning on working tomorrow on getting me a set of user icons for the website itself. They will basically tell you what mood I am in when I typed the updates or whatever goes into the main index. I will start with some of the simpler emotions like happy, sad, anger, and frustration (most of which I feel all the time) and later, I will work on perverted, sick, tired, flirty and a host of others. But again, now its time to start writing. Off to bed y'all.

Today I upload the newly redone website, which is now called Whatever Dissolves Your Crystals (something that evolved out of organic synthesis). However, only a few of the pages will be up due to my work load. Over the next week (or maybe on next Saturday), I will try to finish up all the pages, especially the pictures and all else.
