Ships

The ships on this page were made up to "flesh out" my universe. Origianally that was done by adding more races throughout the galaxy (see Other Races) but with more races comes more variety and so ships were needed for them. The pictures here are either hand drawn by me or created in a 3D program called Bryce.

The Battleship is 2000 meters long and makes up the largest class of ship used in the Dragonian Navy.

There's no doubt about it, the Destroyer is simply a smaller version of the larger Battleships. Measuring at 1000 meters, only half the length of the Battleship, the Destoyer makes up the backbone of the Dragonian navy.

Carrier:

Being 700 meters long, the Dragonian Carrier is an impressive support vessel that carries close to two hundred fighters of differing classes.

Corvettes are the escort ships of the Dragonian Navy. They are the most prevelent of any other capital ship as well as the smallest coming in just over 300 meters long. For a better picture drawn by my brother go here.

Lith-Igno ships don't have artificial gravity fields and so the larger ships have rotating sections to supply the needed gravity to the crews. The Heavy Cruiser measures in at slightly under 900 meters.

The fighters of the Lith-Igno share a rotating section that is more for the consistancy of design then anything else.

Measuring in at just over 1000 meters the Gathrinar Dreadnought is the largest ship they have ever produced. The Dreadnought is the new ship of the line and was designed as to deal with the larger Heavy Cruisers of the Lith-Igno Regime.

This fighter is the standard design and squadrons are stationed on almost every ship and space station throughout the Gathrinar Federation. The disks on the wings are jammers designed to make the fighter harder to target.

The Cuth'lin Cruiser was actually a ship designed by different shipwrights of the various Cuth tribes. Only 200 meters long the ship is over 600 meters tall and only 50 meters wide, on average.

Cuth'lin ships are surprisingly maneuverable for their size and they support sophisticated jamming equipment making it difficult for enemy weapons to get a clear lock on the ship. Their thin design also makes it difficult to hit the ship when it is moving straight towards you or away.

The Cuth'lin fighter is an odd ship. The pilot is actually located in a cockpit off to the side of the center of the ship making the ship confusing to pilot, at first. Despite its odd design the fighter is highly maneuverable.

The Aglimon Temple Ship is one of only a few classes of ships that the Aglimon Empire has. The temple ship is known for its characteristic diamond shape and a temple/arberitum on the top of the ship.

The Kil'tor dreadnought measures in around 1500 meters. While this ship does not have very powerful weapons it does have lots of them.

Alerian Galactic Imperium

The Alerian Battlecruiser is the largest ship of the Alerian Navy measuring at just over 1900 meters. Armed with a massive phased rail cannon on the ship's belly this vessel rivals the Dragonian Battleship in power.

A little over half the size of it's cousin, the cruiser makes up the work horse of the Alerian Navy. With nearly 200 of these vessels Cruisers are responsable for patroling the vast Alerian borders and assisting in putting down skirmishes.

Picket ship of the Alerian Imperial Navy, the Gunboats are the main defense ship for the whole of the AGI. Over 650 of these versitle ships accounts for the bulk of the Alerian Navy.

The Alerian fighter is a mainstay of any Alerian ship. Grouping small squadrons of 5 ships fighter squadrons are kept on board all capital ships and space stations.
