Southern Kingdoms:

The Southern Kingdoms are actually three seperate kingdoms that share full alliances with each other, essentially making them one large empire. The three kingdoms that form the Southern Kingdoms include the Kingdom of Hasiton, the north-western kingdom, the Kingdom of Keldar, boardering the Trasvaltan Rift, and the Kingdom of Ralek, the southern most kingdom.

Each kingdom controlls several larger cities as well as dozens of smaller villages across their lands. Because of how close together they are and how isolated they are from other kingdoms and empires the Southern Kingdoms work together to maximize trade profits and as such their boarders are nearly fully open to each other.

The first chance the Southern Kingdoms had for working together was during the First War of Power. When the nothern kingdoms were being assaulted most of the armies of the Southern Kingdoms sailed north into the Alerian Kingdom and the Dragonite Emipre to provide aid.

Since then, aside from the rare skirmishs between boarder millitias, the Southern Kingdoms didn't see any more wars until news arrived that their emmisaries in Centon'a'tama had been captured by one of the leaders of the Scourge resulting in the beginning of the Magi Wars. During the first part of the Magi Wars the leaders of the Scourge, known as the Fallen, lead several assaults and raids on the Southern Kingdoms hindering their ability to support the larger battles up north.

When the Kingdom of Keldar reported that one of their forts had been assaulted by minions of the Dark nearly two thousand years later the ambassadors of the world refused to acknowledge the threat until it was too late and the Second War of Power was upon them. Like in the First War, the Southern Kingdoms were able to send support through food and troops to the northern kingdoms to aid in their defense.

In 148 NC the Kingdom of Trelton, after suffering massive economic debt, declared a brief war with the Kingdom of Hasiton. Honoring their alliances the Kingdoms of Ralek and Keldar joined forces and launched an attakc on the Trelton Islands, capturing the Kingdom of Trelton. Because of the united effort the kingdom was actually split up, each of the Southern Kingdoms took one of the major cities and surrounding areas. After only a decade the three kingdoms merged together, reuniting the Trelton Islands in 160 NC where they persisted as an independent nation until 1436 NC when they allied themselves with the Alerian Empire just a few decades before the start of the Great Schism.
