The Alerians are the only other original civilization to survive past the Third War of Power. Like the Dragonians the Alerians have built a large space faring empire called the Alerian Galactic Imperium. The Alerian people originally came from the same world as the Dragonians however a major war between them resulted in the Alerian's abandoning their homeworld as a result of losing the war, later called the Great Schism. Now on the other side of the galaxy the Alerians have colonized a large region of space around their new homeworld called Berylia II.
