The Ruqhnah

 

 

Ruqhnah is the term I eventually coined to refer to the species of aliens I had created for an RPG campaign that I was running at the time. Since then my overactive imagination has spawned thousands of years of history and conflict for these people ranging from their primative nomdic past into their massive space fairing empire.

The ruqhnah are a tall and strong species since their homeworld has approximately 1.5 times the mass of Earth resulting in a planet with a slightly heavier gravity. The average ruqhnah stands about six and a half to seven feet tall and weighs about 220-280 lbs. The biggest distinguishing feature of a ruqhnah are boney plates that grow along the head, shoulders and back. Quite similiar to an armadillo the ruqhnah have four overlaping plates on their head starting from just above the forehead to the upper back of the head. Two larger diamond shaped plates grow on the back portion of the shoulder and six more grow down the back mostly covering the spinal column.

Aside from the Ruqhnah this section will also give information about several other races within their galaxy as well as historical empires and kingdoms from their homeworld.
