Escape Velocity: Nova
Escape Velocity:
Nova is actually the third game in a series of related titles made by Ambrosia
Software. I never had a chance to play the ealier games; Escape Velocity
and Escape Velocity: Override, but from what I heard other people talking
about them and they seemed like great games for their time.
Computer Games:
I've had great
fun playing this game and in my opinion the replayability is nearly limetless.
The
biggest addition to replayability is a set of tools called Nova
Tools and
Mission Computer. Using either
of these tool sets it's possible to create nearly anything you could possibly
imagine. As one of my many projects I'm currently working on a plugin of
my own based off of
the Ruqhnah.
EV: Nova is
one of those games that begs to be made into an online multiplayer game.
How this would be done I'm not quite sure since time passes only when you
jump from system to system. But, the developers I'm sure could find a way
to do it.
