I am an assistant professor in the Department of Management Information Systems, Eller College of Management, and
a faculty member of the Statistics Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP) at the University of Arizona.
Prior to that, I was a Lane fellow in the Lane Center for Computational Biology at Carnegie Mellon University. I received
a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.A. in Statistics from UC Berkeley (advisors: Michael I. Jordan and Yun S. Song).
Methodologies: statistical machine learning, probabilistic inference, nonparametric and high-dimensional statistics,
graphical models, causal inference
Applications: business intelligence, network analysis, digital marketing, operation management, health and biology
