Justin Tosi

PhD Student

I am a fifth-year PhD student in the Philosophy Department at the University of Arizona. My area of specialization is political philosophy.

I am writing a dissertation on state legitimacy, territory, and secession under the supervision of Tom Christiano and Jerry Gaus.  Other projects include papers on moral epistemology and sufficientarianism.  I also have a strong interest in philosophical issues surrounding the justification of punishment.
