Ice bath

Mendocino
August 2008: Foggy morning run in Mendocino--sticking with the training schedule, even on the road!

Me and my mentees, Kristin, Lauren, and Jill (L-R)

30 June 2006: Standing with Ralph Valentino after a six-mile run on the Montour Trail

1 October 2005: Eating a Tootsie Pop and making funny faces after our 20 mile run. It's gone to my head, clearly...

3 September 2005: This is me after running 16 miles: tired, but still smiling!

9 July 2005: Here's a picture of the team in the Sabino Canyon parking lot, bright and early before our run. I'm in the middle with the purple hat.

9 July 2005: Coach Mark explains the basics of Chi Running.

9 July 2005: Mark and a volunteer demonstrate leaning from the ankles (not the waist, heavens no!)

Pinta kissing Jennie
15 June 2005: Here's a picture of me and Pinta, my honorary dog for the summer, after today's run (45 minutes; about 4 miles). It doesn't work very well to take her with me on my training runs (because she has to stop and sniff something every five seconds or so), but after my run we went on a walk/jog, just for her, so everyone was happy. You can tell because she was giving me a kiss.

Joe's O's
12 June 2005: Me, trying to take a picture of myself after my morning run (30 minutes, 3.4 miles). Note the Joe's O's in the background, my standard pre-run breakfast (along with a sliced banana and a glass of water).

1 June 2005: Me after running 3 miles on a bright and early Bisbee morning. I still look pretty cheerful...
